Struggle for Peace

 Drug is an addiction
Drug is an infection.
It creates temptation
And then depression.

Life was confusing
I was tired of losing
I battled life consuming fear
which made me break into tears.
To beat my addiction
and inner confusion.

I lit my soul
with Peace as goal
I came out successfully
out of drpression happily
Not letting down my parents hope
by not saying Nope!

I walked with my head held high, with a Pride
On facing the lifes battle 
And thoughts of wanting to fly high!

Divest

 Lack of Everything
Yet, finding happiness in something.
Eyes see them as inferiors,
And their path with endless barriers,
Doors of freedom closed,
The society never unopposed.

At every nook and corner of the nation,
There is discrimination.
Where is Humanism,
In this world full of Racism?
When will their distress dissolve,
After all the technology has evolved.
They strive towards equity and fidelity,
In the present Reality.

The Bad Begining

 Every day we read newspapers -
Column to column full
of news about youth committing Crimes
without any Lull!

Where are the todays youth heading to?
Why they do behave ridiculously?
In the land of Buddha and Mahatma
why do we have such a state of mind?

Are todays youth are born criminals?
or are they the byproduct of negligence?
If they had really received complete attention
and a little scope to do corrections
Would they have become victim of bad intentions?
Its time to imbibe in them the minds of good morals
and make them the future of good society!

 INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where people stay United
Believing the mantra "Unity in Diversity"
North to South or East to West.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where everyone is respected equally
Believing the Mantra "Right to Equality"
Be it Rich or Poor, Man or Woman.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where everyone Stands for Justice
Believing the Mantra "We - The people"
Be it People, Media or Judiciary.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where Women is treated on Par with Men
Believing the Mantra "Women Empowerment"
Be it in education, Jobs and Society.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where every child gets Education
Believing in Mantra "Knowledge is Power"
Be it Rich or Poor, Urban or Rural.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where Disaster ruled by Humanity
Believing in Mantra "Being Humane"
Be it Earthquake, Cyclones or Floods.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where Front Line workers are respected
Believing in Mantra "Dignity of Labour"
Be it doctors or teachers, police or labourers.

INDIA is my Proud Nation
Where Nationalism rules over Terrorism
Believing in Mantra "Jai Hind"
Be it Army or Air force, Navy or Border Security.

Karma Calling!

 Hating or Loving someone is not a bad act,
But Disrespecting someone is a sinful react.
I am not talking about any gender Bias,
But speaking about all people in Universe.
We always believed in Equality,
But never make it our Priority.
If we notice the problems closely,
its about hurting someone's Dignity.
Can we still Imagine ourselves in this Position?
We feel exactly like their Situation.
If you try to humiliate today someone,
Just think that KARMA can humiliate you to None.
KARMA is not a bad deed,
Nor something to cherish to be good.
KARMA can be Good or Evil
Until it comes back to you with Smile!
